Today
I'll go to yoga. And press some work clothes. Help Dave set up the Blu-ray player. Work on some beading. I already looked up the bird in the backyard. It was a brown headed cow bird. Thumper is still out back. I think the fledglings have left the nest, though. I need to call some friends about the California trip. Maybe do some graphics for additional weavings.

The Brown-headed cowbird is the original deadbeat parent. They knock an egg out of another bird's nest, and lay their egg in its place. The new bird then ends up raising the brown-headed cowbird baby.... Talk about pawning your kid off on someone. It's awful sometimes to see a little sparrow trying to keep a big brown-headed cowbird baby fed. The little bird just can't keep up with what they think is their youngern's appetite. Nature can be so cruel...
