Almost new year
I love the week between Christmas and New Years Day. I've been filing, reading and working on the shirt I've been meaning to make since the San Francisco visit -- over a year ago. Next up will be the birdhouse for the music school donation. When it gets warmer at the end of the week. There's still several inches of snow on the ground. Today, I'm going to the dermatologist and see what's up with the moles, if anything.

Last week
I worked in the "land of mystery" at the Gregg. I finished DT's cd cover and disk. And exposed cyanotypes for Karen's jacket. Went to three holiday parties. Had lunch with Bekah. Did a bunch of holiday stuff -- enough to keep the anxiety at bay.

Too many details
So many different projects with so many details. I feel like the balls may drop to the floor at any time. What am I missing?

Sunday
We went to NC State football game vs. Boston College. What a beautiful day and a great game. Now I'm listening to Beau Jocque in front of the open window. It's another beautiful day. I'm off to the garage in a few minutes then yoga at 4.

The dream last night
I dreamed that I was at the Danbury Fair and I bought a Santa brooch for Marsha. It was $1.47. Specifically. I had exact change.

Today
At yoga, my intention was not to "be here now" but to "forgive myself". I don't know where that came from. But I feel so much less anxious now. We'll see where this goes.

Saturday
It's a beautiful day. Went to see Bekah and Robert at Sertoma Art Center show and bought a pair of mushroom earrings. Made chili and cleaned the oven and fridge. Napped. Now onto the NC State football game -- second half.

Rotary Connection
The psychedelic soul band with Minnie Ripperton. It's got to be one of the strangest albums I own.

This week
The Meredith class visited the Gregg yesterday. Success! Today, digitizing music from the early 1980s.

Books and records
I've managed to sell tons of books and many lps to a fellow who also enjoys Jonathan Richman. He was excited to have the first Modern Lovers lps. We're up to $45 in cash and $193 in trade. The rest went to the thrift shop.

Digital me
Digitizing 45s. I have about 10 left to do. It's strange visiting a previous version of myself.

This week
More sorting through stuff in order to reduce the amount of stuff I own -- and have to take care of. Now, I'm sorting through email and web links. I feel like I'm preparing for a new kind of life. Let's see.
